A Day in the Life of a NOCO Employee in Lockport, NY

I often get asked, “What’s it like working at NOCO in Lockport, NY?” Well, today, I’m going to give you a peek into a typical day of mine, where I work to provide fuel and heating solutions such as propane, kerosene, and heating oil, HVAC services to areas including Pendleton, South Lockport, Gasport, East Amherst and Newfane, NY.

Early Morning Propane Deliveries

My usual day kick-starts by 7 a.m. At this time, I prepare for our propane delivery service line. After filling up my truck, I then commence our early morning delivery rounds in Lockport, NY. Upon arrival, I hook up our tanks and ensure all safety measures are in place. Once set, I ensure the customer is satisfied before leaving.

Midday Kerosene Delivery

By midday, I move my focus from propane to delivering high-quality kerosene around Pendleton, NY. I run the same process as my morning routine and, during cold peak seasons, I spend most of my time delivering kerosene for emergency heat solutions to numerous homes in need.

Afternoon Heating Oil Delivery

Around the afternoon, I find myself back at the truck, filling it with heating oil for delivery across South Lockport and Gasport. The services we provide don’t just heat homes but also save lives, especially during harsh New York winters.

Evening HVAC services

As the day winds down, I find myself in and around East Amherst and Newfane providing HVAC services. From routine servicing to emergency breakdowns, each call is an opportunity to improve someone’s quality of life – and I find that incredibly self-fulfilling.

It’s a long, in-depth day, but it’s always worth it knowing that we’re providing an essential service to our communities. Working at NOCO has given me a priceless opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our customers, while also allowing me to become an integral part of the Lockport’s community.
